Production / Heat Treatment of convential Castings

Conventional heat treatment.
Since February 2009 we have been carrying out conventional heat treatment through our fully-owned subsidiary company:

Hulvershorn Wärmebehandlung GmbH & Co KG,

Through this facility we are able to offer the following forms of heat treatment:

Stress-relief annealing
Isothermal annealing under still or moving air conditions
Ferritic annealing
Normalizing
Special annealing methods (on request)

We can anneal the following parts for you:

Castings
Welded assemblies
Engine components
Steel containers
Forgings
Other Parts

The equipment which we use for the this is as follows:

Bogie Hearth Furnace I:
Internal dimensions:               7500 x 3000 x 1800 mm
Weights of individual items:    up to 20t, furnace loading approx. 30t
Temperatures:                        max. 950°C

Bogie Hearth Furnace II:
Internal dimensions:               4000 x 2500 x 1800 mm
Weights of individual items:    up to 20t, furnace loading approx. 15t
Temperatures:                        max. 950°C

Rump-Shot-Blasting House:
Internal dimensions:               2200 x 2200 x 2600 mm
Weights of individual items:    up to 5t
Blasting abrasive:                   Steel pellets

Additional shot-blasting equipment on request (also hand-held shot-blasting).
